Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the online listing, website and all advertising material is accurate at the time of publication, we cannot be held responsible for changes or matters outside our control. All information is given in good faith, but no warranties are made regarding information provided, either written or oral.
Arrival and Departure
On the day of your arrival the house will be ready from 5.00pm; this is to allow us enough time to clean the house and make it ready for you.
On the morning of your departure, we ask that you please vacate the house by 9.30 and at the latest by 10.00am, so we can prepare the house for the next guests.
Bed Linen and Towels
All bed linen and towels for the bathroom are provided for you and your beds will be made and ready for your arrival. Please bring your own pool towels for use outside.
End of Stay Cleaning
Cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the cost of your holiday. We ask that you please leave the house clean and tidy.
Car Parking & Electric Car Charging
There is plenty of car parking space available for guests’ use within the grounds and parking is at owners’ risk. We have an outside power point for guests that have electric cars. Please let us know the number of electric car owners in your group before arrival. Please note that we reserve the right to make an additional charge if there are more than 2 electric cars that require charging.
Reservations, booking and payment
An initial payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking and the balance is due 60 days before your arrival. We’ll email instructions at the right time. If you are booking within 60 days before your arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments to us are requested to be made by bank transfer

Neighbours and noise
Our property is adjacent to a farm, from time to time you will hear farm noises. After 11pm we ask that our visitors keep noise to a minimum.
Use of the pool
Our lovely 10 x 5 metre pool is available to use during your stay at Logis de Tirac. It is not heated and is available June until the end of August and sometimes available earlier or later depending on the weather. We have a pool alarm to meet safety requirements, instructions are provided in the house details available when you arrive. A cover is also available to pull over which helps to retain the warmth of the water. 2
We will clean the pool during your stay and aim to do the cleaning between the hours of 8-10am, we respectively ask you to not use the pool after 11pm. All drinks taken around the pool should be placed in the plastic glasses which are available.
Use and cost of the hot tub – available on request
The hot tub is wood fired and filled on the first time of use with fresh water. The hot tub needs 3-4 hours of preparation time to heat it, and more time to fill it on the first occasion, and therefore we ask that our guests request it ahead of time. The tub can be prepared and made available between 5.00 – 8.00pm, it will maintain its heat for several hours. There is a cost of 35 euros for each occasion that the tub is heated. Please note that the hot tub is available to use according to Andy’s availability. It has bubbles and lights, and only plastic glasses should be used when in the hot tub.
Pets
We do not generally accommodate pets and ask that you please do not bring your pets with you unless this has been previously discussed.
Security Deposit
A €500.00 security deposit will be required on the arrival day of your stay. This can be provided in cash or a cheque and will be held until the inspection of the house at the end of the visit has been completed. This can be refunded up to one week after departure, should there be no additional cleaning or breakage charges applied. If booking through Airbnb or other online travel agents and isn’t taken at the time of booking, we reserve the right to request it from yourselves or the 3rd party company should there be any damages upon inspection.
Damage and Breakages
Please take care of the house. We do not normally charge for small breakages, (for example the odd plate or glass that gets broken) but we reserve the right to charge for repairs or making good if the damage is more or significant. Please let us know of any breakages or damage as soon as they occur.
Please do not apply or use fake tan or hair dyes in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Any linens, towels and soft furnishings stained with fake tan will need to be charged for, particularly if professional cleaning is required to remove stains. Similarly, we ask that our guests please wash off sun cream before bed at night to avoid damage to linens and soft furnishings.
We reserve the right to supply an additional invoice for breakages above the deposit amount of €500.00. In this circumstance receipts for the repair will be supplied to the guest and should be paid for within 5 working days.
We reserve the right to charge for items missing from our rooms.
Lost property
We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. There may be a charge for postage and packaging depending on the size and weight of the forgotten item.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Guest
We are a small business and cancellations can have a big impact on us, we do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can happen, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases. If you do need to cancel, we will try our best to re-let the property, and if successful we will refund your payment in full less any expense or loss incurred by us. If you cancel before 60 days we will refund your deposit. We encourage our guests to take out travel insurance to cover this type of circumstance.
A Cancellation by Us
Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.
Cancellation due to Covid-19
In light of the recent global pandemic we have put in place specific terms and conditions, should you not be able to travel to us due to Covid-19 on your booked dates. We encourage our guests to take out travel insurance to cover this type of circumstance if it is available.
If you have paid part of or your total balance and are then unable to take your holiday due to government restrictions on travel being in place between France and your country of residence, the following will apply
(If we are able to secure a further booking for the same period that you had reserved, we will offer you a refund in place of the voucher, or you can retain the voucher)
If you have a voucher and you book a holiday for the following year, we reserve the right to increase the price of the cost of the house rental. However, the increase will not exceed 10% of the overall cost of the holiday
Should you decide not to travel, for any reasons other than a government order in place either in France or your country of residency then our standard cancellation policy is applicable.
Personal data
Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking may be held on computer. We would like to hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers. If you would prefer us not to hold this information, please let us know.
All guests are required to complete a form called ‘Modele de Fiche Individuelle de Police’ providing the details of all adults and children staying in the house, which is retained according to the timeframe advised on the form.
Prices
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made.
Taxe Sejour
Taxe Sejour is payable separately and in cash at the beginning of your holiday. We will let you know the amount to be paid.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly NOT permitted within the house or any buildings. When outside we ask guests to be respectful, only putting cigarette butts and matches etc in ashtrays and being very mindful of fire hazards such as dry grass and wood. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for professional cleaning of any rooms. No refund will be provided for the unused nights of their terminated stay.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions whilst guests are staying at the house.
Termination policy
Logis de Tirac reserve the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice, an individual’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others (please note that non-compliance of our non-smoking policy may constitute termination). In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.
Force majeure
Logis de Tirac shall not be in breach of this Agreement if it does not provide the services under this Agreement, and it shall be entitled to cancel a booking if it is no longer able to provide the accommodation, due to one or more of the following circumstances:
