A welcoming comfortable Maison de Maître tastefully renovated keeping the French style mixed with a touch of modern. The house sits on 4 acres within the French countryside north of Bordeaux surrounded by Cognac vines and sunflowers
There are four large, renovated bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms one of which has a roll top bath. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor for easy accessibility. All bed linen and bath towels are provided.
During the spring season, early summer and autumn, bed and breakfast is available in the individual bedrooms or the whole house is available for minimum 2 night weekend stays.
The whole house rental is available during July and August.

The Blue room is a light and spacious room with an exposed stone wall and a roll top bath and Italian style shower.
The room which has a kingsize bed has two large windows looking out over an abundance of vineyards at the back of the house and the garden at the front. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic night away or who just want to stay in this delightful, bright, comfortable bedroom.
The spacious Cream bedroom is decorated with light gold shades, has a kingsize bed and two windows, one looking over the vineyards at the back and another which is almost in touching distance of the beautiful old horsechestnut trees at the front. The room has a light, airy ensuite bathroom with an italian style shower.
The Cream Bedroom is the perfect option for those seeking a peaceful escape in a lovely room and will easily accommodate a spare bed for a little one.
The Pink bedroom is available for Bed and breakfast throughout the year except July and August when the Logis de Tirac is available for whole house rental. The room has an ensuite bathroom with an Italian-style shower and has two single beds; perfect for friends or family travelling together. The room has a large window which provides lovely views of the front garden, with its magnificent horse chestnut trees.
From the kitchen, French doors lead out onto a sunny terrace shaded by leaves and a sail. Here you will find a large table for you to enjoy al fresco eating and other outside seating. A charcoal barbeque, and a bag of charcoal, is available for your use.
There is also a sun deck which points towards the sunset in the evening or used as an outside yoga platform in the morning.
There is a large 10m x 5m pool with an alarm which is surrounded by grass and sun lounges and shades. There is plenty of space for children to run and play and a table tennis is also available.

The department has lots of sunshine (the second highest in France after the Cote d’Azur) with few rain showers. Perfect weather to guarantee great holidays or weekends away.

The owners are a friendly English couple, Andy and Clare who have a history in hospitality. Andy has been a Chef for over 35 years.
His cooking is modern with international influences using all the best local, fresh and seasonal ingredients and he is available to come to you. Whether you would like him to cook lunch or dinner with friends or when you just need a professional to do the cooking, such as a retreat, a small event or during your stay at a Chateau or Gite.
During this autumn or winter, if you’d like a weekend away with friends or to celebrate a special occasion you could stay in one of our beautiful ensuite bedrooms, sit by an open wood fire and enjoy lovely food at Logis de Tirac. There are interesting places to visit and a Private Chef to do the cooking.
We can also provide cooking experiences, culminating in you cooking and eating what you have created.
