For stays of 3 nights, there’s a discount of 15% per night.
Overview
A welcoming comfortable Maison de Maître tastefully renovated keeping the French style mixed with a touch of modern. The house sits on four acres within the French countryside north of Bordeaux surrounded by Cognac vines and sunflowers
You will love the big sociable spaces in this house, the large kitchen and adjoining lounge, four large, renovated bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor for easy accessibility.
Outside areas include a large pool and a terrace.
The whole house is available during July and August for minimum 7 night stays.
We understand the importance of flexibility, therefore we are open to accommodating your preferred days of arrival and departure upon request.
During the spring season and early summer bed and breakfast is available in the individual bedrooms or the whole house is available for minimum 2 night weekend stays.

The space
During the summer months of July and August, the whole house is available for private rent. Our stunning holiday home offers the perfect blend of modern amenities and classic French charm. With four spacious ensuite bedrooms, one on the ground floor for easier access, the house can accommodate up to eight guests, making it the ideal destination for families or groups of friends. Extra beds can be added for the tiny guests.
In addition to a large, bright and airy kitchen which links to the outside terrace, perfect for al fresco dining, there is plenty of space in and outside of the house to unwind and relax; this includes a lovely pool for your private use which is surrounded by both terrace and grass for lounging or playing.
The house can be booked for other weeks or long weekends on request, and if it’s a little chilly, guests will enjoy sitting in the large lounge, complete with comfortable sofas and a cosy fireplace.
If you don’t fancy cooking, the ‘chef de maison’ can be available to cook for you for one or more meals.
Fully equipped with plenty of oven space, dishwasher, wine fridge and coffee machine lending itself perfectly to sociable cooking and dining inside or out.
Working from Logis de Tirac
Since being connected to fibre, we can offer the perfect opportunity to mix a little work with relaxation if you absolutely have to, or if would just like to stay here with the purpose of working remotely from Logis de Tirac.
You can work in a large airy private office or spread yourself around and work from the large kitchen table looking out onto the vineyards; you can work alone or bring some work colleagues.

We can even provide a Chef so you can make the most of your work and non-working time.

Blue bedroom
The Blue room is a light and spacious room with an exposed stone wall and a roll top bath and Italian style shower.
The room which has a kingsize bed has two large windows looking out over an abundance of vineyards at the back of the house and the garden at the front. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic night away or who just want to stay in this delightful, bright, comfortable bedroom.
Cream bedroom
The spacious Cream bedroom is decorated with light gold shades, has a kingsize bed and two windows, one looking over the vineyards at the back and another which is almost in touching distance of the beautiful old horsechestnut trees at the front. The room has a light, airy ensuite bathroom with an italian style shower.
The Cream Bedroom is the perfect option for those seeking a peaceful escape in a lovely room and will easily accommodate a spare bed for a little one.
pink bedroom
The room has an ensuite bathroom with an italian style shower, and has two single beds; perfect for friends or family travelling together. The room has a large window which provides lovely views of the front garden, with its magnificent horse chestnut trees.
Green bedroom
The Green room is a large airy room which is situated on the ground floor providing easier access for any guests that would find this helpful. It has an ensuite bathroom with an Italian style shower.
This lovely, cool (in the summer) ground floor bedroom has a king size bed and a tall window which looks out over the garden at the front and has an adjoining door through to its own sitting room. The sitting room which can also be used as an office, has a double sofa for guests to sit and relax quietly but also can be made into an extra double bed perfect for accommodating small children or a teenager.
Additional equipment is available to use in the bathroom making the facilities more easily accessible if helpful.
Front room
The front room at Logis de Tirac is a spacious and elegantly decorated retreat where rustic charm harmonises with modern comfort. Large French windows fill the room with natural light, creating a warm and inviting ambience.

Outdoor
From the kitchen, French doors lead out onto a sunny terrace shaded by leaves and a sail. Here you will find a large table for you to enjoy al fresco eating and other outside seating. A charcoal barbeque, and a bag of charcoal, is available for your use.
There is also a sun deck which points towards the sunset in the evening or used as an outside yoga platform in the morning.
There is a large 10m x 5m pool with an alarm which is surrounded by grass and sun lounges and shades. There is plenty of space for children to run and play and a table tennis is also available.

The department has lots of sunshine (the second highest in France after the Cote d’Azur) with few rain showers. Perfect weather to guarantee great holidays or weekends away.
St Emillion, Cognac, and Bordeaux are easily accessible by car, offering opportunities to explore renowned wine and cognac regions through captivating tours and visits. Immerse yourself in the coastal charm with Atlantic harbors and fishing ports like La Rochelle, Royan, and Rochefort just a short drive away. Our region enjoys its own microclimate, ensuring pleasant weather and delightful surroundings. Within 35 minutes, you can reach the nearest beach or slightly further a field discover the stunning sandy beaches of the Côte Sauvage.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find an array of activities nearby, including go-karting, sailing, kayaking, and cycling. The owners are a friendly English couple, Andy and Clare who have a history in hospitality. Andy has been a Chef for over 35 years.
His cooking is modern with international influences using all the best local, fresh and seasonal ingredients and he is available to come to you. Whether you would like him to cook lunch or dinner with friends or when you just need a professional to do the cooking, such as a retreat, a small event or during your stay at a Chateau or Gite.
During this autumn or winter, if you’d like a weekend away with friends or to celebrate a special occasion you could stay in one of our beautiful ensuite bedrooms, sit by an open wood fire and enjoy lovely food at Logis de Tirac. There are interesting places to visit and a Private Chef to do the cooking.
We can also provide cooking experiences, culminating in you cooking and eating what you have created.
